Adams hit .451 with 6 homeruns and 49 RBI, and a .820 slugging percentage in the middle of the Cougars lineup. Adams was also a top performer on the hill throwing 37 innings and racking up 33 k’s and a 3.40 ERA.
Adams was named 1st team all district, 2nd team all-MAIS (Mississippi Association of Independent Schools) and was voted best pitcher by his teammates.
“James will be able to contribute in several ways for us in Little Rock,” said RBI Warriors coach Brian Emory. ”He is also a good person and he deserves to go with us on this trip.”
